I was born and raised on the east coast where I attended college prior to going to veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania. During a post-graduate private practice internship, I developed a passion for soft tissue surgery, and pursued advanced training in surgery prior to working at an emergency and specialty hospital in Delaware for several years. My husband and I met in Philadelphia, and in 2016 we moved to the Portland area to start our family. We couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.

In addition to my surgical interests, I enjoy clinical veterinary education and emergency medicine, and love using these skills to volunteer in underserved communities (both in Portland and beyond!). In my spare time, you will find me attending live theater, singing show tunes, dancing, hiking with my family, and drinking as much coffee as my body can handle. I live with my husband, daughter, our cat Gabrielle, and our golden/Lab mix Rusty Orange.
