General & Advanced Surgery

At Wildwood Veterinary Clinic, we offer a range of surgical services, from routine procedures like spays, neuters, mass removals, and dental surgery to more advanced soft-tissue procedures when appropriate.

For pets who need specialized surgical care beyond what is typically performed in general practice, we also work with a trusted traveling veterinary surgeon who performs select advanced procedures right here at Wildwood. This allows many pets to receive higher-level surgical care in a familiar setting, with our team involved throughout the process.

Surgical services may include:

  • Spay and neuter procedures
  • Mass removals
  • Dental and oral surgery
  • Wound repair and management
  • Foreign body removal
  • Gastropexy
  • Hernia repair
  • Amputations
  • Anal sacculectomy
  • Ophthalmic procedures
  • Nares and soft palate procedures
  • Other advanced soft-tissue surgeries, when appropriate

Patient safety and comfort are always our top priorities. Our team takes a thoughtful, individualized approach to anesthesia, pain management, monitoring, and recovery to help your pet receive the safest care possible.

We also know that surgery can feel overwhelming. Our veterinary team will walk you through the recommended plan, answer your questions, and help you understand what to expect before, during, and after your pet’s procedure.

About Surgical Estimates

Because every pet and every procedure is different, we are not able to provide exact surgical estimates without first evaluating your pet and understanding the specific care they need. Factors such as your pet’s size, health history, anesthesia needs, surgical complexity, and recommended diagnostics or treatments can all affect cost.

Once your veterinarian has examined your pet and created a treatment plan, we will provide a personalized estimate and review it with you as clearly as possible.
